‘Deformations on the flat universe’ is a rear video projection through a garden fence over dust sheets (moving with the help of a fan). The video is a footage appropriated from youtube and shows a very intimate recording of the September 11th terrorist attack. In the video you can see the dust clouds taking over Manhattan, meanwhile the projection of this video through the garden fence is deformed by the moving dust sheets. The sound piece is Vangelis’ ‘The Bladerunner Blues’ from the 1982 film Blade Runner in reverse.
